OTW #53 and Gnomebody Like You Stamps

Here is my second card for OTW #53.    I keep coming back to this stamp set.   Its so cute and versatile.

I was hesitant about the color combo at first, but then I got into it.   You will see the larger limitless layers die in the back cut into corrugated cardboard.  I love this look and will have to do more with it in the days and weeks to come.

Thanks for looking!   Happy Saturday evening.  Anyone waiting up late for the PTI release?   Should be fun :)

OTW #53 and CPS #217

Today I made two cards for the OTW color challenge.  Once again, I enjoyed working with a new color combo.   This one also used the CPS challenge sketch.

The corrugated cardboard was fun to work with, you will see the other part on my next card.  I also love this stamp set by Wilson Designs.

Thanks for looking and try to play along!   If you do, leave a comment with your post here :)

More NSD and SC challenges

Here is another layout I made with the color combo here and the challenge here.  Both are from Studio Calico's NSD event page.

This one was tough.  Lots of measuring and math.   I typically run away from something like this, but I was proud of my efforts and might try it again.   I have come a long way over the past few years.   I have these challenges to thank for pushing my comfort level.

Happy Monday to all!

NSD and SC

Well here we are at the end of National Scrapbooking Day/Weekend.   I was inspired by the color combos and sketch ideas at Studio Calico.   This is my first layout with their color combo and sketch.

I used the color combos here and the sketch here.   What a great job they did at SC with this event!

Thanks for stopping by.

CASE from Create Blog

I saw this card on the Create Blog here and fell in love.   I am crazy for Aqua Mist anything and especially large bows.

So I got to work to CASE it.   Here is my take on this lovely card.   Thanks Andrea for the inspiration.

So many I lost track :)

Make it Monday #12 and PDCC79

This is my attempt at this week's very difficult Make it Monday.   You can see the video and Nicole's perfection here MIM#12  It has been fun to read many other participants' comments on their trials with this seemingly easy yet oh-so-hard technique.   We are all learning together....right?   I used this Play Date Cafe colors for this week.  You can see them here PDCC79.   Once again I got really into a new color combo.   I am so thankful for those that provide these inspiring challenges for us.

Yes, the royal wedding made me cry.   It was spectacular.   I loved every minute.  I also loved sharing it with my little princess and little knight.    They were amazed that it was happening in "real life."

Have a great Monday, everyone.
