Moxie's Tuesday Trigger

Here is the inspiration for this week's Tuesday Trigger. I flipped over this picture. It screams..."insert me." I could live in that world no prob. So the challenge was so much fun for me. In my card you can see the three main colors. Another contestant mentioned that it was Damask for sure, I couldnt agree more. I made several trials before I decided on this as my background paper. I also fussed with the bow forever. I chose the satin ribbon because it reminds me of the slick side of the cube.

Just Add Ink 39

This week's challenge over at Just Add Ink could not have come at a better time for me. I have several people in my life suffering from depression. Its great to know my love (paper crafts) can help others in this way. Check out their post for more information and ways to help.

Two challenges in one today. I had so much fun with the 2S4Y today, and the color combo from Off the Wall Craftiness was perfect for me. I love chocolate brown with anything.

Pushing my limits

I know you have been there. Feeling overwhelmed by a challenge....feeling confused...just cant get it right. Well that has been my experience with this week's Mojo Monday Challenge. It finally came together with the help of PDC's color combo this morning. I am so pleased to have made a card outside my comfort zone in two ways: the layout and the color combo.
